Motion Sensors & Drivers for LED Rail

Electrical components designed to power and control our motion activated LED wardrobe rail system. This setup combines infra red door sensors with compatible LED drivers to create a fully automatic lighting solution that illuminates your wardrobe as soon as it is opened.

Each LED wardrobe rail connects to a door sensor using the integrated cable lead from the rail. The sensor then connects to an LED driver, which supplies power to the system. When the infra red beam within the sensor is interrupted - for example when a wardrobe door is opened - the lighting automatically switches on. When the door closes and the beam is restored, the lighting switches off.

Sensor options

Single Door Sensor
Designed for wardrobes with one opening door. Opening the door activates all connected LED rails and closing the door switches the lighting off automatically.

Double Door Sensor
Designed for double door wardrobes. Both sensor heads operate together, meaning opening either door will activate all connected LED rails simultaneously.

Sensors include multiple connection ports, allowing several LED rails to be controlled from a single trigger point so the entire wardrobe illuminates together.

LED drivers

An LED driver is required to power the system. All drivers operate at 12V constant voltage and are designed specifically for use with our LED wardrobe rail lighting.

Drivers are available in multiple wattage options. The correct driver size depends on the total combined length of LED rails being powered.

Driver sizing guide

Total LED rail length (metres) x 9.6 = required driver wattage

Example:
Four 1 metre rails = 4 metres total
4 x 9.6 = 38.4
A 50W driver would therefore be required.

Available driver options:

• 8W driver
• 15W driver
• 30W driver
• 50W driver

All drivers feature multi-port micro plug connections, allowing multiple rails and sensors to connect easily within one system.

The driver must be wired to the mains supply or fitted with a plug top (not supplied).

These electrical components form part of the complete motion activated LED wardrobe rail system, alongside:

• 30x15mm oval or 25mm round LED wardrobe rail
• Oval or Round Support fittings (sockets and brackets)
• Electrical components (sensor and driver)
