Spigot Splice Joint - Tube Connector

Our Tube Joining Spigot provides a simple and reliable way to create longer continuous lengths of tube by joining two shorter sections together. Fitted completely internally, it strengthens the joint while maintaining a clean external appearance with no visible fixings.

Manufactured from durable mild steel, the spigot features a longitudinal slit along its length. To install, simply squeeze the spigot by hand to temporarily reduce its diameter, then slide approximately half of the spigot into the first length of tube. Position the second tube over the remaining section and push the two lengths together.

Once released inside the tube, the spigot expands against the internal walls to create a strong friction fit and a stable, secure connection.

Each spigot is 150mm long. The additional dimension shown refers to the compatible tube diameter the spigot is designed to fit. The width of the slit varies according to the tube diameter, allowing each size to compress and expand correctly.

For the neatest finish, we recommend positioning a supporting bracket over the tube joint. This helps provide additional support while concealing the joint, giving the appearance of one continuous length of tube.
